Who it is for

Follow-up after patients return home.

For UK private clinics coordinating contact after a procedure. A structured call collects the patient’s report between appointments and gives the care team a record to review.

No clinical outcome claim is made.

What Mira asks

Pain, wound site, temperature and medication.

Pain

Ask the patient to report their current pain and describe any concern.

Wound site

Capture what the patient reports about the wound site.

Temperature

Record the temperature reported by the patient, when available.

Medication

Ask about medication reporting and any question for the care team.

Questions, contact timing and thresholds follow the configured pathway. Detailed question banks and scoring logic remain private.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

01

Enrol

Add the patient to the agreed follow-up pathway after their procedure.

02

Mira calls

Mira phones the patient and asks structured check-in questions.

03

Flags surface

After the call, responses that meet configured alert criteria are flagged for review.

04

Care team reviews

Your care team reviews the flag and decides the next step.

Audio from a real Mira test call. Illustrative screen.

Hear Mira conduct a post-procedure check-in in a real test call, accompanied by an illustrative screen. The explainer shows how patient enrolment, structured calls and flagged responses connect to care-team review.

Call audio transcript — pending

Transcript pending: the call audio has not yet been transcribed and checked.

Care-team view

The conversation and its context.

The care team sees the call outcome, transcript and AI-generated summary alongside the patient record. Configured alerts are routed to assigned clinicians; the team reviews the responses and decides the next action.

Authorised users control configuration access. The clinic agrees patient suitability, consent, call timing and review ownership.

Synthetic example

A short check-in script.

Mira: How would you describe your pain today?

Synthetic patient: It is less than yesterday, but I have a question about the wound site.

Mira: What would you like your care team to review?

Synthetic patient: I would like them to check my report.

Mira: I’ll capture that with your responses for care-team review.

Synthetic example wording, not the video transcript or a complete clinical protocol.

Questions answered

Before you start.

What does a post-procedure check-in call ask?

The check-in covers pain, the wound site, temperature and medication. The exact questions and schedule depend on the configured pathway agreed for the patient.

What happens when a patient reports something concerning?

Alerts are raised after the call and routed to assigned clinicians for review. The reviewing clinician can call the patient from the alert and record a note. The care team decides the next action.

How long does it take to set up a pathway?

Setup time depends on the pathway, configuration and the clinic’s review arrangements. Scope and implementation commitments are agreed separately; no standard setup time is promised.
